It’s a beautiful accent.
Despite being within spitting distance of the multicultural area that is New York City, Long Island has its own distinct, trashy culture. A real Long Islander can be identified by the faint smell of booze, the sound of Billy Joel emanating from their Range Rover—and, of course, their accent.
